Almost three years in and 700 subscribers later, I think it’s as good a time as any to do a Q&A session for my readers. I said in yesterday’s essay that I sometimes struggle to get words out, but I think one way to help mitigate that is to engage the audience and see what they want to talk about, what they want to know more about.
Like any first-time thing, I’m taking a bit of a risk here, but I’m going to open it entirely up to you: what’s a question you’ve always wanted to ask your favorite super-secret agent Max Remington, but never had a chance to, were too afraid, or too polite to ask? It can be absolutely anything - about current events, prepping, even about me.
On that last point, in case it isn’t obvious, “Max Remington” is an alias. We live in a soft-totalitarian society, so I unfortunately cannot speak openly. There’s a lot I say here that’d land most people in hot water if stated publicly, without the cover of anonymity. I wish it weren’t so, but we are where we are and we live in accordance with reality at all times. I’ve said that before, haven’t I?
So if you’re going to ask me a personal question, understand my responses must be limited in order to preserve anonymity. I’ll try to answer as many questions as I can and will publish them, along with my responses, in a future entry. I apologize to anyone ahead of time if I cannot get to your question this round. Depending on how this first one goes, I may do additional Q&A sessions on a later date.
Post your questions in the comments section. Fire away!

Max, what are your 3 favorite movies and why?
And what are 3 books that you believe are the most critical to get us through what's coming?
The people whom I know who have a real sense of the world are often very religious and/or were big readers growing up (enabling them to break through society’s messaging). Can you attribute any early book, fiction or non-fiction, that helped guide you on your current path? In my own life, I distinctly remember a novel “The Girl Who Owned a City” by O.T. Nelson that I read when young that showed a world in which adults died out and kids had to rebuild society. Some chose to be self sufficient and form alliances while others just resorted to range activity. It presented an authentic conservative/libertarian view of responsibility and the realities of those who pursue criminal ways to satisfy their life’s needs. Without that and a few other key books, I’m sure I would have become a Normie.
