Apologies to all for the light posting. As some of you may have surmised, blogging is not my full-time occupation and real-life activities took precedence this past week or two. Not only that, there’s been so much happening as of late, I often find myself overwhelmed with thoughts, unable to transfer any of it into written words. Other times, I decide to wait to see how things play out. As I’m not being paid to write, I have no incentive to offer my thoughts on what might happen as. After all, this blog isn’t about predicting events before they occur, but explaining events as they occur.
Still, I’d love to write more regularly. Clearly, when it comes to the art, I’m not ready for prime-time. But I still appreciate the fact you are all along for the ride.
That said, I have to admit that I am experiencing a bit of a writer’s block at the moment. This is due to the fact there are so many things happening faster than my mind can organize thoughts and events taking place in my own real life. As such, it may be some time before I put out another entry.
However, I’m most definitely not taking a break nor stepping away. I just want all of you to know that posting may be light for an indefinite period of time. Like many things in life, consistency is most difficult to maintain when it comes to writing, which is why not everyone’s good at it. I have always been something of a streaky writer and it seems as if that particular trait is something that isn’t going to go away any time soon.
Anyway, I wanted to explain my silence to all of you and hope you understand. Again, I’m very grateful for your subscriptions and for sticking with me. I hope to have something for you soon!

That’s all right, you owe us nothing. Please write when and what you please. And thank you for your efforts, I’ve enjoyed them!
I would be interested in your thoughts on this Tennessee shooting. Although there are a lot of similarities with previous shootings, it seems like an escalation - targeting the children of your political opponents in direct response to legislation you don’t like. Plus there is the fact children were murdered for being Christian. I’m not completely convinced this gets forgotten in a few days.
