As far as the regimes of the West are concerned, the citizenry is something to be forced into submission and, ultimately, replaced as they outlive their usefulness.
I live in a medium-sized town in Northern California. We have a sizable immigrant population, mainly from Mexico. And we all get along really well. It's not the immigrants that concern me. It's the schools that teach their children that America is evil and that whites are all racists. The schools(run by and large by woke white women) are poisoning the kid’s minds. Even the white kids hate themselves as a result, which is why so many of them (I think) identify as “queer” ~ they’ll do anything not to be associated with “whiteness.” Absent that, we’d get on like we've always done, as a melting pot.
As an aside, it's the Latina girls who are most affected by this poisoning. They embrace the idea that they are oppressed. The boys essentially don't give a shit, and they're tuning out education as a result because it has nothing to offer them. What the boys need are trade skills ~ not BS woke ideology. Instead, far too many graduate with no skills or prospects. It’s a disaster in the making.
I get what you're saying. But changing the culture of the country is a much harder, much longer-term effort.
Stopping the Great Replacement? You can accomplish that mostly by limiting immigration. Those Mexican migrants are just fresh meat for the grinder, a bottom-less supply of recruits. Look at what happens to the military when White Americans decide they don't want to sacrifice for a country that hates them.
If you cut off the source of recruits, the movement or whatever cannot be sustained. It's that simple.
The horse has already left the barn here in California. We will have to start recruiting amongst the source as it were. There are plenty of god-fearing men amongst the immigrants in my town. People who want to live, work, prosper ~ and be left alone by the blue-haired crazies. They don't want “queer” kids, or communist kids, or free Palestine fanatics. They want a stable future, just as we do. They are our natural allies. We’ll have to be realistic about this or lose the contest for our future.
That video about America's increasingly anti-social society struck a cord with me. Years ago I remember this psychologist Clay Routledge warning about America's existential crisis, as in more and more Americans were losing their sense of meaning.
Like culture, meaning is not a "nonsense" word and psychology is quite clear that it's having other people in our lives that gives meaning. Hence, America becoming a lonelier and more alienating place should be cause for serious concern especially considering that psychology is also clear of the effects of not having meaning. People with a felt lack of meaning are more likely to have anxiety, less able to cope with stress, more likely to abuse alcohol and drugs, in rare cases more likely to suffer from depression and in very rare cases more likely to commit suicide. Does any of that sound familiar?
I understand compared to the economy, crime, and government, that sounds like a minor concern, but if the majority of people are so demoralized that they can't even imagine things getting better, if they don't have any hope, then how is anything going to get better?
A demoralized people are easier to control. They don't resist. I usually resist comparisons between the U.S. and late-stage USSR, but I think the 1990s revealed the extent to which Russians were a demoralized people. There was some talk of a Second Russian Civil War occurring, but it never did. You did see, however, skyrocketing crime, substance abuse, and suicide during that time.
Demoralization leads to self-destruction. Maybe if more Russians felt they had something to live or even fight and die for, you might've seen a civil war. But they had neither. I feel Americans are much the same as Russians, in our own way. When it all does come crashing down, Americans won't wage civil war. They're resort to crime, substance abuse, and suicide.
People are getting accosted on the street with mid-level violence of punks daring them to assert themselves. Happened just the other day as a group of “youths” tried to stop me to “shake their hand.” Didn’t take the bait and just moved on. The police will not enforce vagrancy or harassment laws. They won’t enforce robbery or petty theft. I suspect we will be more like Latin America where there are armed guards at most urban shops and crowds form to beat the hell out thieves or criminals. It’s sad. If only someone would take the crown lying on the floor and simply enforce the law so much frustration and danger could be avoided. There is a complete lack of accountability or leadership in the black community to the ills that plague it. Those who get to be leaders often grift and blame outside groups or historical wrongs. The “no go” zones will simply expand.
Ah yes, the classic "shake my hand" bait. Glad you didn't take it. Disrespect towards them is warranted.
I saw a story from San Diego where the city is cracking down on free yoga classes being held on the beach. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, nor was I aware that it ran afoul of any laws. Meanwhile, like in any other city, the vagrancy problem is rising, and certain people are allowed to get away with almost anything. It seems everywhere you go, the authorities have gone all-in: go after the low-hanging fruit, but don't tackle anything that requires the cracking of skulls. Even if holding yoga classes on the beach does run afoul of some law, look at the big picture: exactly what sort of civil order is being upheld by punishing people for practicing fitness on the beach? People are beginning to notice the glaring contradiction, but I don't know what's going to be the breaking point.
As violent as Latin America is, we have to remember a lot of the violence is *in response to* violence. The police are even more unreliable down there, but they also don't exactly get in the way of people trying to defend themselves. I'd rather live in accordance with reality. If that means living in a more violent society overall, maybe that's the price we need to pay. What I do know is that pretending like we live in a safe, orderly, high-trust society is going to become an increasingly expensive lie in the years to come.
Yes, I thankfully listened to James Lindsey’s description of “mid level violence” and remembered that provoking an overreaction is the intention (https://youtu.be/eDJSyohaqJU?feature=shared). It begins around 1:45 mark. It’s a lose-lose for rhetoric target. You either assert yourself and risk attack, or you do what they ask as a humiliation ritual. Plus, the “shake your hand” routine conveniently takes your right hand away from you to defend yourself…
As to your point on the Latin American countries, I think of that apt statement from the writer of Conan the Barbarian. Robert E Howard once said, “Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.” If these punks actually lived by the true law of the jungle, then they wouldn’t mess with a man who could also live by the laws of the jungle. At this point, the targeted man knows he will be targeted by the state for defending himself if he dares to stand up for himself. The modern day police (or at least what they are pushed to do by DA’s) are fine with locking up free yoga instructors but not the local drug peddlers down the block in open air drug markets. I’m sure you’ve read “ComCon” by Marine Police Officer Rory Miller. He was instrumental in helping me understand these types and the tactics they use to “hook” you into “offending them,” so they can attack you. I discussed it before, but all those YouTube pranksters are engaging in mid-level violence. What they're doing isn't explicitly illegal, but they're basically harassing, in some cases terrorizing, people to trigger a reaction which can be used for clout. There's no upside to responding to the provocation, but failing to respond to the provocation is just as deleterious. The law provides no way to deal with it, as they view both parties on entirely even ground.
It's going to be the topic of an upcoming piece, but the state monopoly on violence works only if the state properly identifies who's overall at fault in an incident. It cannot decide who's the aggressor and defender based on who exceeded their limits more. It has to be able to identify who created the violent situation in the first place, whose actions were prudent and whose were imprudent. This means the state needs to be willing to take sides instead of trying to draw a line straight down the middle.
I've read "Conflict Communication" and it's one of my favorite books. It really changed my thinking on how social interactions take place and how societies manage conflict. It ought to be required reading.
Illegal immigrants hire wanna-be thugs to fake-rob them so they can become "crime victims" and legally remain in the country with a work permit, and the whole thing only comes to light because a CCW holder decides to stop the robbery. LOL American immigration policy has jumped the shark. You can't make this stuff up any weirder than it is.
My parents lived in Mexico for a number of years. My mother once said that coming back to the United States, one is confronted with the first 8-10 signs on the freeway that all told you what you couldn't or had to do (wear your seat belt, no texting, etc...) Land of the free.
On your European illegal immigration map, look at Greece... 90% against immigration. On the immigration frontline, Greece is screaming a warning to Ursula but her class won't listen. Eventually all of Europe will look like that. Can the "far-Right" still be "far" when 90% of your population agrees with them? In France, it looks like Michel Houllebecq's prediction of an alliance between the Left and the Islamists is starting to come true, the last gasp of an unpopular ruling class trying to hold onto power. The Nazi's must not win! So the Left aligns itself with people who hate the civilization and slice the private parts off little girls... oh wait, the Left does both of those too now, don't they?
The Sun: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/28260781/police-officer-dead-stabbed-mannheim-anti-islam-rally/ "If the investigation reveals an Islamist motive, then that would be further confirmation of the great danger posed by Islamist acts of violence that we have warned about." Translation: if we refuse to talk about Muslim "refugee" crime, it's not happening, just like the New Year of rapes that didn't happen.
None of the news stories are actual news. The reader has no idea what happened beyond "cop stabbed" because the reporter has no desire to tell them. They're not about conveying information but enforcing a narrative lest anyone notice the obvious.
The only accurate one: https://www.skynews.com.au/news-story/de6adc584971b753034f6dd77f64a6ee Afghan immigrant. 2014 refugee. Named. Victim named. Pax Europe political rally. It takes a right-wing news site from halfway around the world to tell people what actually happened. And the press wonders why no one reads or trusts them anymore.
Also, notice in the video that the officer is alive and walking around after the attack. Clearly no one (even he) has any idea how seriously he's been injured. Unlike Hollywood, in the real world, unless you happen to hit the brain stem, death takes a while.
Simple question: how come the only people willing to use violence are the ones trying to destroy civilization? And how long can that continue before the defenders of civilization start playing by the same rules? I've got to be honest, even though I know the end of that is a low-grade civil war, I'm getting really tired of my side getting hit and not striking back.
The officer has since died. I said on X that while I don't take pleasure in the officer's death - it bothers the hell out of me, honestly - I'm also indifferent. Really, why should I care about the fate of someone who clearly sees his own fellow citizens as the real problem, likely as racists? At this point, cops are no different from your typical state bureaucrat.
"Simple question: how come the only people willing to use violence are the ones trying to destroy civilization? Simple answer: they're allowed to. And I think we all got tired of our side getting hit and not striking back ages ago. It's just as exasperating to see supposedly intelligent people still more worked up about Trump than the myriad of glaring problems our country is facing. Trump didn't make our country any worse, he merely exposed what this country actually is. Trump also isn't by any measure the one who's running this country, but too many people still pretend he is.
This is very poignant. Part of why America has been so prosperous is the semblance of order and high trust aspects of our society. As these inevitably break down, providing security will be a very lucrative endeavor. I hear people on the New Right pondering the idea of national divorce as an alternative to civil war. I do think that is a viable option. I strongly fear that an actual civil war may devolve into a world war where billions of people would end up dying. Mostly of starvation. I don’t think there’s enough redundancy built into the delivery systems of food and energy to satisfy the needs of all people under the circumstances of an American Civil War. It would be horrific.
