Outliving Our Usefulness
By leveraging the present, they’re erasing our past and denying us a future.
There sure is a lot going on these days, isn’t there? There’s so much to talk about, not enough time. I have a lot of pieces that have been sitting on the stove for a while, but I’ve been having to take them off the burner due to the sheer pace of events. I wanted to take a deeper dive into events in Europe, especially Britain, and apply them to events here in the United States, but at this rate, I’m not sure if I’m going to have the opportunity. I suppose it’s just what happens when you’re living through the Fourth Turning!
Invasion Colorado
I want to discuss troubling events here in the states. Footage has surfaced the last few days of an armed Hispanic gang prowling an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado:
Here’s the write-up on the story by Vicente Arenas, who broke the story for FOX 31 Denver:
AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — New video has surfaced showing alleged gang violence at an apartment complex home to some migrants in Aurora.
The video shows the group entering an apartment building with several weapons and then making their way through a door. The scenario took place at The Edge at Lowry apartments, which became a reported crime hotspot in that city.
In the video, men can be seen walking up a stairwell carrying weapons. They can be heard speaking Spanish.
The owners of the video said it was taken shortly before a shootout at the complex that left one person seriously injured. Several vehicles were also damaged by gunfire.
All of the people appear to be carrying rifles and handguns, except for one of the men who can be seen talking on a cell phone. They all then gather around a door and go in.
Another video clip shows what appears to be two men forcing a door open. But what or who they were searching for is not clear.
The video was shot in the building where Cindy and Edward Romero lived until Wednesday. FOX31 caught up with them as they loaded up their stuff and moved out.
“It’s been a nightmare and I can’t wait to get out of here,” former resident Cindy Romero said.
The Romeros are later quoted as saying the trouble started when migrants moved into the complex. They also reported shootouts and how when they reached out for help, nothing was forthcoming.
About a week earlier, X account Collin Rugg posted a video recorded by an Aurora resident describing the situation:
Later, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that they were, indeed, members of the dangerous Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang from Venezuela, the largest criminal organization in the country with widespread presence in the Americas:
In July, the Biden administration designated TdA a transnational criminal organization. The same month, Homeland Security Investigations issued a memo warning TdA had “green light” to fire on police in Denver. It appears the Mile High City has become a hotbed for TdA activity.
Late last year, Venezuelan resident Jose Martinez released multiple articles discussing how TdA had reached America, along with how pervasive criminality, organized crime specifically, is in Venezuela. Review the articles when you have a chance, as it serves as firsthand evidence of what a menace the country is becoming to the U.S., something we’ll talk more about later.
What’s been the response by authorities? If you’re the type to trust the government, you may be surprised. If you’re like me - distrustful of political authority - it should come as no surprise, while still being disheartened, nonetheless. In many ways, the reaction by authorities is the real story, because it underscores why it all happened in the first place.
Narrative Management
After the footage was released and became a national story, both the Mayor of Denver, a Democrat, and the Mayor of Aurora, a Republican, came forward to dispell “hysteria” being propagated by the Regime’s favorite boogeyman, the right-wing:
DENVER — A video showing people carrying guns in a hallway of an Aurora apartment complex is making the rounds on social media and conservative media outlets with the narrative that the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is taking over the building.
In an interview Thursday with 9NEWS, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said the situation is being exaggerated.
…
Coffman acknowledged that residents of two or three apartment buildings in the city are being intimidated by a Venezuelan gang but said that Aurora Police are handling the situation and making arrests. Police said the gang’s activity is “isolated.”
Denver and Aurora’s leaders have said for weeks that Tren de Aragua is in both cities and that police are working to determine the extent of their operations.
On Thursday, after 24 hours of intense national media coverage, Coffman and Johnston said the exaggerated and inaccurate news coverage is creating risks and problems as their cities try to deal with the gang.
“It’s overwhelming our 911 system, or our emergency call center, and so it’s actually hurting our ability to respond to crime,” Coffman said. “I would hope people would not do that. I think we’re in some sort of environment of hysteria right now over this. It’s a real issue. It’s being dealt with. It’s isolated.”
In a separate interview with Fox News, however, Mayor Coffman sounded a more urgent tone, going as far as to lay the blame at the feet of the Biden-Harris administration:
The term “isolated” has been used frequently to describe the activities of TdA. Meaning, what’s happening doesn’t fit into any broader nor larger trends. Even if this were true, I’d say the presence of one of the most dangerous transnational gangs deep within the American heartland, a place over 550 miles removed from the southern border, is cause for great concern. If this were al-Qaeda or ISIS operating in Aurora, would it still be an isolated incident? After all, we all know terrorists operate in small groups.
X account “Do Better Denver” crafted a timeline of events showing how the authorities handling of the issue both on the ground and in the media has evolved starting at the end of July with a precipitating incident:
Notice that the story was largely confined to local news until fairly recently. When it became national news, thanks to the shocking video released in Vicente Arenas’ story for FOX 31 Denver, suddenly, the authorities came forth to set the record straight, addressing the problem with a much greater sense of urgency. Obviously, that’s exactly what they ought to do, but what’s even more striking is how something which supposedly isn’t a big deal has now mobilized significant amounts of political leadership and law enforcement resources at all levels.
Aurora is now requesting an emergency order to close the apartment complex TdA is operating in:
AURORA, Colo. — The city of Aurora is seeking an emergency order to close apartment buildings where they have seen Venezuelan gang activity, according to a Facebook post by Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman.
The Aurora City Attorney's Office is filing paperwork to declare the properties a criminal nuisance, the post says.
Coffman said the gang activity has been isolated to these buildings, which are all owned by the same out-of-state company.
In an interview on Next with Kyle Clark Thursday, Coffman acknowledged that residents of two or three apartment buildings in the city are being intimidated by a Venezuelan gang but said that Aurora Police are handling the situation and making arrests. But he said that national media coverage is exaggerating the problem and creating additional risks.
Hmm. If they close the apartment buildings, will that be the end of the story? I guess we’ll find out, but think: if this was a known issue and it was being handled, why are they now taking more decisive action to resolve it? Usually, the simplest explanation suffices: because the situation is now out of control and everyone in the country can see it. If there’s anything that motivates the authorities to take action, it’s bad press coverage.
The Aurora Police Department also issued a statement to assure the public:
UPDATE: The city and Aurora Police Department, as previously stated, established a special task force in collaboration with other local, state and federal partners to specifically address concerns about Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) and other criminal activity affecting migrant communities. We are grateful that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), a valuable federal partner, has acknowledged its ongoing work into TdA across the metro and appreciate the additional resources it provides to combat this issue. #APDNews
We are aware that components of TdA are operating in Aurora. APD has been increasingly collecting evidence to show the gang is connected to crimes in the area. However, as we have said previously and as the DEA similarly stated, it would be improper at this time for the city and APD to make any conclusory statements about specific incidents or provide details about law enforcement strategy and operations.
Again, the message being sent is, “We’re aware, we’ve been aware, and it’s being handled, calm down.” Here’s the thing: if they’ve been aware, it took a very long time for them to do anything about it.
Take a look at the list of incidents that occurred in just a single building during a four-month period this year, at The Edge at Lowry Apartment complex, located at 1568 N. Nome St., Aurora, CO:
Some of you may live in apartment complexes. Imagine if that many calls to authorities were being made that frequently where you live. There’s no way you’d live in peace. We have police for that very reason: to bring order to chaos. Looking at that report log, does that look like the police were doing their job?
I know we’re all tired of reading official statements, but here’s one more from the Mayor’s office:
There has been a lot of misleading information shared about what is happening in our city. Aurora is a safe community. Media have conflated and considerably exaggerated incidents that are isolated to a handful of problem properties alone.
Yes, we are concerned that there is a small Tren de Aragua (TdA) presence in Aurora and we have been taking it seriously. We have responded. We have made arrests. We will continue to make arrests. We will continue to address the problems that the absentee, out-of-state owners of these properties have allowed to fester unchecked. Aurora will aggressively pursue all actions available under city code and criminal statute.
Notice the police are primarily laying the blame on the complex’s out-of-state owners. While they’re no doubt responsible for what happens on their properties, I think we can all agree that the problem would’ve never arose if not for illegal immigration, unless Aurora happens to be a crime-ridden city, an assertion the police emphatically deny, as you’ll see.
More:
As @AuroraPD shared, we have received questions about Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirino also known as “Cookie” or “Galleta.” We previously announced his arrest in connection to a July 28 shooting. We are able to confirm Pacheco-Chirino, 22, pictured here, is a documented member of Tren de Aragua (TdA). The department is not aware of his status within the gang. He is currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Local, regional and national media are leading the nation to believe that Aurora is wholly unsafe. That is simply not true. While these isolated situations are rightfully of great concern and warrant increased action and scrutiny, violent crime in the city is down in nearly all crime categories.
Once again, the message is consistent: they know what’s going on, they’re on top of it, it’s an isolated incident. At least they’re speaking in one voice now.
So what’s the truth here? Whatever it might be, let’s assume for a moment that the story is less of a problem than it’s made out to be. Personally, I think an armed foreign gang marching through an apartment complex is akin to a five-alarm fire, but again, we’ll put that aside for the moment. What if, instead of armed Hispanics, it was armed Whites seen in that footage? Do you think anyone would dare accuse anyone else of “hysteria?” Or would it be used as evidence of rampant White supremacy and calls for immediate action?
Speaking of White supremacy, it should come as nor surprise to anyone what really got Colorado’s political leadership up in arms. From the X account of Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser:
Numerous other state officials got in on the act, speaking out against bigotry, hatred, racism, and xenophobia. What they also all have in common is having next to nothing to say about the situation in Aurora. Look at their social media accounts and see for yourself. I’ll let you all decide whether those signs are really as bad as described, but it’s sure as day that’s what they consider to be the greater offense. What people reserve their outrage for is as certain an indication of their priorities. As usual, the leadership class is more concerned about the reaction to illegal immigration than the impact of illegal immigration.
If there’s anything American political leadership is good at, it’s narrative management. It’s amazing, really: footage of a transnational gang walking through an apartment building toting rifles has been turned into “right-wing hysteria”, while at a higher level, the real crime, the one that gets the politicians up on their feet and out on the streets, are offensive signs that sully the name of Vice President and Democratic Party presidential nominee Kamala Harris. It’s crazy, but none of it should surprise us any longer. When committed to the Great Replacement, the cultural and demographic transformation of a society, managing the narrative is the most important aspect of it. You have to make people believe they’re not seeing what they’re really seeing, while also re-directing their attention towards bigger problems, like offensive signs.
It’s good advice for both good times and bad: when it comes to crime, trust your own senses, not the government. It’s not to say objective facts don’t matter - they absolutely do - but remember we live in an anarcho-tyranny. The authorities have a vested interest in managing the narrative because the reality is, not only may they not have control of the situation, the outcome could very well be the intent.
I’ve done my best to discuss the situation in Aurora most factually, but I’m not an authority on what’s going on there, either. It’s up to all of us to decide what the truth is. However, I think the evidence speaks for itself. If I were in charge of handling the situation, I, too, would want to paint as rosy a picture as possible. What I’m certain of is that something is happening in Aurora and a lot of people are working hard to convince us otherwise.
Meanwhile, resident have to contend with a reality that exists independent of official narratives:
Here’s another man telling his social media followers that the crisis in Aurora is very, very real.
Whom do you believe? The government? Or the residents of Aurora? It’s all up to you.
Our Children Are At Risk
We shift our focus now to San Diego County, California, where illegal migrants attempted to board two school buses to do who knows what.
JAMUL, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two school bus routes within the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District have been briefly interrupted over the last two days after migrants attempted to board them, according to district officials.
In an emailed notice to families obtained by FOX 5/KUSI, Superintendent Liz Bystedt said a group of migrants attempted to board along the district’s A and B school bus routes.
The first incident occurred along the Route A route near the intersection of Highway 94 and Cochera Via Tuesday afternoon. According to Bystedt, a group of three men were walking in the middle of the highway trying to stop one of the buses, prompting it to “go around” the group.
A Route B school bus then came upon a group of about 20 people Wednesday morning as it was picking students up from the same stop, Bystedt said. Parents present at the site helped the bus driver ensure students were safe and that no one boarded the bus.
Here’s a mother of one of the children on one of the school buses describing the incident:
I can just hear it from illegal immigration proponents: they were just trying to get transportation! You know there’s people out there who’d say that. In fact, it’s exactly what authorities themselves have said.
From The San Diego Tribune:
“Sheriff’s deputies determined that no one forcefully tried to stop or enter the school buses, therefore no crime was committed,” sheriff’s spokesperson Kimberly King said Thursday in a statement. “It is not uncommon for community volunteers and charitable organizations to provide resources in these parts of the county, some of which operate vehicles similar to school buses.”
Well great, everyone should feel better about it, then. It’s also nice to see there are volunteers and charities out there helping illegal migrants.
Wait, what am I saying?
The extent to which illegal immigration has become normalized is a sign of how acute the crisis has become. Usually, when a problem becomes normalized, it’s because there’s nothing left to be done about it, so it’s better just to accept it as a permanent feature in the landscape. None of us want to blow things out of proportion, but groups of people who are clearly migrants trying to stop school buses full of children or showing up at school bus stops where children congregate is obviously cause for concern, whether or not they actually tried to board the buses. We teach kids to beware of strangers, so why not groups of foreigners showing up at school bus stops?
A sure sign that we as a society have no capacity for self-protection is the fact we don’t seem bothered one bit when illegal immigration impacts women and children. All societies have vary degrees of tolerance for one thing or another, but when it adversely affects women and children, it tends to trigger their defensive instincts. Not so in the U.S. nor the broader West. Illegal immigration has become a partisan issue, making it impossible for both sides to oppose it, which they should, if they indeed represent a single country. Instead, we have one side talking about it, while the other side can’t afford to, even if the Overton window shifted sufficiently to do so.
This year alone, we’ve seen high-profile murders and rapes of women and children by illegal migrants. Even if we’re statistically not at great risk of being victimized by illegals, these are entirely avoidable incidents. Remember that the likelihood any of us will be involved in a terrorist attack is virtually nil, but if it happens, does that matter? Terrorist attacks are also avoidable to a large extent. The likelihood of an event doesn’t mean it should be dismissed as a concern. It just means it’s more difficult to prepare for. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t prevent it. Fires are difficult to prepare for, but they can absolutely be prevented, which explains why most of us don’t end up burning to death.
We all want a more peaceful existence, but no matter what we’ve been taught our entire lives, you don’t get it by opening up the borders, letting anyone and everyone in out of sympathy for the less fortunate.
As evolutionary biologist Gad Saad has been saying often as of late:
At the risk of being repetitive, let me explain one of the foundational laws of history: There are two groups, A and B, living on either side of the river. Both groups covet various resources that the other has; the only thing that stops either groups from perpetually attacking the other is the recognition that both groups are willing to defend their people, women, children, culture, society, religion, heritage, values, etc. Now imagine that the West has decided that this is an antiquated and barbaric reality. TRUE EMPATHETIC PROGRESSIVEs demonstrate their commitment to the cause by allowing their women, children, culture, society, religion, heritage, and values to be raped and murdered. Through suicidal empathy, we can all demonstrate that we are kind and tolerant people.
This means, at some point, violence needs to enter the discussion if we want to deal with the immigration problem. If we’re not willing to use violence against those coming over the border, we need to at least be able to use it against the countries that are sending them here. Venezuela is at the top of that list. If America is good for anything these days, it’s bombing other, weaker countries. Why haven’t we bombed Venezuela yet? If you ask me, they deserve it.
In April 1986, President Ronald Reagan ordered the bombing of Libya after a terrorist attack at a Berlin nightclub killed two U.S. soldiers. The bombing was a sizeable retaliation, one that involved a couple thousand-mile round-trip for some of the aircraft involved and cost the lives of two American airmen. All that over the deaths of two Americans. I’m not saying it wasn’t worth it, but it’s to show that we’ve retaliated for acts of violence against Americans by foreigners. Why not do it for Americans killed on home soil?
Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, who was only 12, are just two of many American women and children who’ve been killed by illegal immigrants. Riley and Nungaray were killed by Venezuelans, specifically. Where’s the response? Why aren’t there aircraft carrier strike groups in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Venezuela? Aren’t the lives of our women and children worth the use of military force?
I’m not suggesting America go to war with Venezuela over illegal immigration. Not exactly. What I’m saying is that if we’re not going to secure the border, if there are too many illegals in the country to deport, then why not do what we’re still good at? We’ve bombed other countries for a lot less.
Just don’t tell me we’re going to stand by and watch our women and children murdered and raped by foreign invaders, while trusting the “system” to handle it. That’s what we’ve been doing. It’s been working splendid, hasn’t it?
The Great Replacement Comes For Us All
I want to close with the following remarks made by Nancy Pelosi on the most recent episode of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. I’ve always believed, with enough time, the mask will come off. Well, it certainly came off here.
From Pelosi’s own mouth:
Watch and listen to her remarks yourself to decide whether the description meets reality. I think the message is loud and clear, though. I’ve discussed at length on this Substack the increasing difficulty Americans are having owning property due to high costs. The ability to own property is one of the surest measures of the health of a capitalist, market economy. The less people can own property, the more likely inequality is high, for example.
California is a state with some of the highest home prices in the country. Yet it just passed a bill allowing illegal immigrants to access loans of up to $150,000 towards purchasing houses.
(The Center Square) — The California Senate Appropriations Committee advanced a bill to allow undocumented immigrants to make use of the state’s zero down, no payment home “loan” program, an expansion the legislature says would create “significant cost pressures.”
AB 1840, which already passed the Assembly and now faces a floor vote in the Senate, would prevent the state’s California Dream for All Shared Appreciation Loans program from denying individuals on the basis of their immigration status. This program allows applicants to secure “loans” of up to 20% of the home’s purchase price — or, about what a typical down payment is — with zero down payment on this state loan, and no payments.
The state’s “loan” can potentially be repaid to the state when the home is refinanced, sold, or transferred, with the borrower paying back the original loan amount plus 20% of any increase in value on the property. It’s not clear what happens if a family decides to hold on to a home as there are no provisions on how long a property can be held for, which means certain kinds of trusts could potentially allow the loan to not be paid back.
Here’s the implication of this policy:
President George W. Bush’s home down payment assistance program for less qualified individuals is widely blamed for fueling the housing bubble — by increasing housing prices and decreasing loan recipient quality — that led to the 2007-2008 global financial crisis.
The median home in California costs nearly $1 million and requires a household income of over $200,000, or more than triple the median household income, to afford.
Some will point out this hardly amounts to illegals being given free homes. Sure, but it allows people who didn’t even bother entering the country lawfully to access benefits that should be available only to citizens and obey the law. To use the Costco example, imagine if the wholesale retailer chose not to stop non-members from shopping there. Obviously, this wouldn’t make any sense and the entire model would collapse as a result. But that’s exactly what indulging illegal immigrants is. We’re supposed to believe that it works when it comes to running a country, even though it doesn’t work in any other context.
So this is the Great Replacement, straight from the horse’s mouth. It’s here and it’s not going away. It begins with eliminating any distinctions between citizens and non-citizens, followed by special favors for the non-citizens, particularly those who came into the country illegally. Again, it doesn’t make practical sense, but it’s just what you do when you want to create a more pliable, more easily-controlled society. I’m quoting someone when I say this, but I think one of the reasons the Left and the elite classes think so highly of Mexico, often at America’s expense, is because the former represents the kind of society they aspire to: one controlled by the credentialed class who have complete control, through inequality, over a lower class that provides a virtually limitless supply of cheap labor to maintain their high standard of living. As long as they’re not racist towards the lower classes and promotes complete sexual freedom for them, it’s all good.
Part of the reason we’re in the predicament we are now is because, from the perspective of the Regime, an American populace with a stake in society are a threat to their stranglehold on power. Meanwhile, immigrants, though they aspire to a better life, don’t have as much stake in society because they haven’t been here that long and are still attached to the place they left behind. They’re just here for better fortunes and if the government can provide that, they’ll want for nothing else. If you can constantly replace a population every time they begin getting “too big for their britches,” you can avoid a situation where people make demands of you or remove you from power for failing to live up to your duties. It’s not a sustainable strategy, but when you want to remain in power at all costs, you’ll try anything, no matter how insane the idea.
This includes importing large numbers of foreigners to places like Taylorsville, Utah, places where just a generation ago, there weren’t that many:
The point isn’t that Muslims shouldn’t live in Taylorsville. The point is to ask yourself: how did they end up there, of all places? Why? What impact will the strong culture produced by Islam have on the place? You can love diversity all you want, but it won’t necessarily love you back.
If there’s any one thing I want everyone to understand about the Great Replacement, it’s that it doesn’t matter what race you are, how you and family arrived in this country. The Great Replacement (a term I apply somewhat differently from its originator, Renaud Camus) sees us all as interchangeable and, more importantly, expendable. Imagine working for an employer who reminds their employees they can all be replaced at any time, so shut up and do your job. Sure, it might be a factual statement, but would you want to work for someone like that? If not, why would you want to live in a country run by people like that?
Human beings need to feel valued. They need to believe that their hard work goes towards something greater than daily sustenance, towards something that outlasts our own time in this world. Not all of us share this view, of course. We’re as cynical and nihilistic a society as we’ve ever been. But most of us still do. Our leadership class, through the Great Replacement, however, is attempting to deny us that by forcing us to yield ground to an endless stream of newcomers who are supposedly more American than we are. Imagine being loyal to such leaders. Imagine being loyal to people who think we’re useful only in terms of GDP, that our lives have no meaning beyond a number.
Government cannot provide us meaning in our lives, but they absolutely shouldn’t be getting in the way of us finding that meaning by trying to replace us. By leveraging the present, they’re erasing our past and denying us a future. Remember that when you cast your vote in November, the next time you file your federal income taxes.

One last visit to Aurora, Colorado, before wrapping things up. The situation there reminds me of the backstory to Starship Troopers. I’m speaking specifically about Robert Heinlein’s 1959 novel the more popular movie adaptation was based on. I personally find the backstory to be more fascinating than the main story itself, because it says something about why civilization exists and what it takes to maintain one.
The one-world government humans live under in the story is the Terran Federation (United Citizens’ Federation in the film). Basically, it came to be in the wake of terrible wars, followed by a period of rampant crime and disorder. When a militia comprised of veterans formed in Aberdeen, Scotland and freed the city from criminals, it set off a chain of events leading to the dissolution of the old governments, with what would later become the Federation filling the vacuum. Generations later, the world created by the veterans is one of low taxes, low crime, great prosperity, and high virtue.
The key point of how the Federation and the good times came to be is that resulted from a need for safety and order. This is why civilization exists; it doesn’t exist to provide free stuff. Clearly, we’ve lived long enough to take safety and order for granted. Some of us see it as the natural state of affairs, instead of something that needs to be maintained regularly. We also see violence as beneath us, while tolerating high levels of it from all the wrong people.
As Neil Howe says of the Fourth Turning, one of its consequences will be a greater demand for order. It’s just something that happens following a period of chaos. With that demand for order will come a preference for conventional (Howe doesn’t use the term “conservative”) values. We can only hope that a more mature attitude towards violence will be part of that value set. The fact is, violence isn’t just for the bad people. It’s the foundation of every civilization, every law. When you vote, you’re exercising violence, whether you want to believe it or not. You’re demanding that the state exercise violence to promote your interests over that of others. The system works no other way.
This isn’t a civics lesson. It’s to say that the situation in Aurora is something which can only be resolved through violence. Our unwillingness to use it is what’s leading to our unraveling. One day, like the veterans in Starship Troopers, the brave and upright among us will need to find their appetite for violence once more if we’re to survive the tumult to come. Ironically, violence may be what prevents civil war or collapse, not what leads to it.
Aurora may not be the Aberdeen of our story. That moment is likely years down the road. But it’s a warning sign, a look into the future. One day, some of us may be called upon by fate to deliver us so we can preserve our past, thrive in the present, and secure our future.
What about you? What’s your take on the situation in Aurora? Is it really that bad? Or is it being blown out of proportion? Are you seeing a similar situation elsewhere in the country? What about anything else discussed?

If TdA has a green light to shoot Denver police then Denver police need a green light to shoot them. This is literal war, life or death, existential stuff. The use of bullets as the primary form of crime-fighting must be eagerly supported by all Americans otherwise we will have no such thing as “law enforcement” to push back against these gangs.
I'm bemused by the Aurora matter. Thirty years ago, it happened to an apartment complex in Houston which I had been living in peacefully for five years. I'm surprised it's taken this long to get to Colorado.
I remember my shock from thirty years ago when I realized that no one in the government or in law enforcement cared, or that if anyone did it hardly mattered because none of them had the courage to demand that the crisis be addressed. I remember that the day after 9/11, I remarked to someone, "I think the illegal immigration matter is about to be dealt with." I believed it.
We really are ruled by our enemies.
